After 30+ Flights, Here’s 5 of Our Favorite Travel Toys For a Toddler
Hi friends! Let’s talk travel toys.
Traveling can already be stressful, and traveling with littles can feel intimidating! But try not to stress, coming prepared can help! I especially like to set aside toys specific to travel time only (that way they are always exciting to see again for the first time). Here are a few travel toys we have taken on flights that have helped entertain and pass the time (Especially helpful if you’re looking for some no screen time activities)! Light Up Busy Board
We love this light up busy board! There are different themes as well (unicorn, dinosaur, etc.). I like how interactive it is. Our toddler stays busy turning switches on/off, plugging in cords/turning keys to turn on lights, and turning dials.
Mini Magnetiles
Mini magnetic tiles – I really love how this pack is the perfect size for travel! These tiles also come in different themes/colors. Parents and toddlers can both enjoy building structures together while traveling!
“Sticker” books
Puffy sticker books! – My toddler loves these. I like how they are easy and light enough to pack in a carry-on and don’t take much room at all. These stickers can be taken on and off again for multiple trips of fun! It’s also nice different themes are available to cater to your child’s interests.
And for the vehicle-loving toddlers, we also found some similar jelly sticker books that come in this fun theme!
Fidget Spinners
Fidget Spinners – We’ve used these since our toddler was an infant, and we still use these for travel today! I love these on the plane (this is why we also love booking window seat – aka free entertainment!). They easily suction on the window and are a fun way to entertain littles.
We also like the ones that have the little “pop” bubbles! It almost feels like a 2-1 kind of toy, haha.
LCD Drawing Tablet
This LCD drawing tablet is also really fun, and we love how it’s a mess-free drawing option! I love how small and light it is and can easily pack in a carry-on. Also, with just one push of a button the whole screen erases for more drawing fun! They come in different colors as well.

Sensory Toys
Sensory toys! We love a good sensory toy – we love these because they’re stretchy, easy to pack and travel with, and plain ole fun to play with! I like this pack because it comes with different strings with different textures and colors.
Toy Car Keys
And if your little loves to play with your car keys, look no further! It’s like they make a toy for every need nowadays. Especially for the car lovers, our toddler enjoys pushing the interactive buttons that play car noises.
